Laptop Recovery Network
Bucks County Technical Services/LaptopRepairAnywhere.Com announce a partnership with Prey to offer Laptop Recovery Network Services.

What is the Laptop Recovery Network?
It is an online service offered by and managed by Bucks County Technical Services and allows you to track a lost or stolen laptop, notebook or netbook running Windows (XP, Vista or 7), Linux or Mac OS X (10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6).

How does it work?
First your laptop is registered with BCTS' Laptop Recovery Network.  Next, BCTS loads an agent program on your computer that runs silently and in the background that checks in with BCTS LRN periodically to say, "Hey!"  If your computer is stolen or lost you alert the LRN, we put out an Internet Alert and as soon as someone turns on your computer -- the LRN sees it and reports its Internet location to BCTS's LRN.  Once we have that Internet address we can use that to locate your lost or stolen laptop!  If you have a Mac or Windows machine with a webcam, it might even be able to snap a picture of the thief

It's that simple!

Plans are simple: $5 per month / $50 per year / $100 lifetime
