I am having this problem with Windows Vista with IE8 installed...

Whenever I go to YouTube and try to watch something I get...

"You either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player."
Both are installed.. I even tried reinstalled Flash... I upgraded from IE7 to IE8 and still didn't help... tried Google Chrome, no good... any help?

Your best bet here is to UNINSTALL Flash... since there isn't an obvious way to do so, you have to go to Adobe to download an uninstaller.  Go to: http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/alternates/ and download the uninstaller.  Next, run the uninstaller... then reboot.  Then go to Adobe.Com and reinstall Flash -- you should be all good!
